Three incumbents face challengers in Sanford council race

Voters will elect two councilors to serve three-year terms and one councilor for a one-year term.

Sanford voters will elect three city councilors on Nov. 3.

Councilor Alan Walsh is running against former state legislator John Tuttle for a one-year term. Voters also will elect two councilors to serve three-year terms. Incumbents Fred Smith and Richard Wilkins face challengers Dianne Connolly, Donald Jamison, Leonard Kinney and Lucas Lanigan.
