Healing Properties of Poetry

Grief is one of the hardest things to face in life, and however it is something which most of us will experience in our period. Composing or reading grief poems and funeral poems is certainly something which many find san diego hills in assisting them to complete their trip through the bereavement process.

Placing emotions into meaningful poetry could be by many who have not really attempted such a feat as being "not for them". However, nearly every person can get something out of sitting down for a quarter-hour and reflecting upon their lives of themselves and putting pen to paper. Authoring their lives as a special event, noting key memories and the fun instances they shared can be an emotive and most importantly, a positive experience .

A good place to begin when composing your poetry, can be to make a several lists of individuals, places and memories that were particularly special to you and your loved one. This list is in no way extensive. Writing about a lost cherished one is never easy, as it can stir up many emotions and force you to cope with your loss and accept it.
