Headquartered in southeastern Wisconsin (near Fond du Lac, and commutable from the northwestern suburbs of Milwaukee), the Company has multiple manufacturing facilities throughout Wisconsin, and employs approximately 750 hourly and salaried associates. The Company is privately-held, historically profitable, has a consistent record of year-over-year growth, and is highly respected in its industry.

A newly created position reporting directly to the Vice President of Human Resources, the Manager of Learning & Development will have corporate-wide responsibility and accountability for further developing and executing learning initiatives designed to improve the performance of employees and the overall business. In addition, the selected candidate will manage the Companys newly developed performance management system to include taking the lead on automating the process and ensuring that associate performance is documented within the Companys HRMS.

To qualify for this outstanding opportunity, candidates must have some combination of the following background, skills, and personal attributes:

At least ten years of human resources background with specific experience in training, development and the management of performance management systems. Experience gained within a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred. Some generalist experience would be favorably viewed.

Specific experience in conducting needs analysis activities to ensure that an appropriate workplace learning environment (one which has a clear linkage to corporate and HR objectives) is established.

Substantial experience providing expert consultative services company-wide regarding individual development planning strategies and processes for emerging leaders and executives.

The ability and credibility necessary to ensure consistent application of specific organizational strategies through training, coaching, and ongoing monitoring (e.g., ensuring that the Companys performance management process is consistently and uniformly applied) corporate-wide.

Within the context of identified organizational needs, a proven track record of successfully assessing external training resources, managing the delivery of training programs, and measuring the effectiveness (the ROI) of selected learning initiatives.

The appropriate skills and experience to personally deliver training courses as necessary, and an interest in potentially acquiring certification in appropriate training programs (for example, but not limited to, selected Lominger Leadership Architect modules).

Intellectual curiosity, a strategic orientation coupled with a hands on approach to achieving agreed upon objectives, the ability to influence outcomes, and an energized, team oriented, can do attitude.

At minimum, an undergraduate degree in Business, Human Resources Management or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., SPHR, CPLP, HPI, etc.) will be favorably viewed.
