The aerodynamic power generated by the case B WT
Optimization cases from case A to case C where conducted with increasing initial BMS 470539 size and number of generations. The initial population is generated using SOBOL initialization, 50 samples for case A, 70 samples for case B and 100 samples for case C. The number of generations for optimization was varied from 10 to 25 which should ultimately be much higher.
3. Results and discussion
Since multiple optimization cases with different goals and geometry parametrization were conducted the summary of the cases is given in Table 1. Each case will be discussed separately and the optimization results for the WT geometry and aerodynamic power for the given range of wind speeds will be presented.
