The adjustment yields a reduction in UA values of up to 60% for low TGen,in (Tgen,in = 70 °C) and an increase up to 60% when Tgen,in = 88° C.
After modifying the exchange area, a proper fit of the capacity values between the model and the data from CREVER is found. Something similar occurs in the generator but with a greater difference between both representations. It is necessary to consider that the error range provided by CREVER for the heat input is 3 times the error values in capacity.
