Black Friday carves deeper into Thanksgiving.

Black Friday is increasingly becoming Black Thursday as more and
more retailers kick off the start of the holiday shopping season on
Thanksgiving Day.
The National Retail Federation pinpoints 2009 as the year a few
retailers broke through the midnight barrier with sales that began
Thanksgiving night. Last year, 35 million people hit the stores on
Thanksgiving, a 95 percent increase since 2009, as more and more stores
open earlier and earlier.
It is a change that has received mixed reviews from consumers.
