Home County, Wisconsin is just a popular destination for thousands of travelers each year. Little communities with populations of less than 500 people swell to huge crowds throughout the summer weekends as people head to Door County for many sleep, relaxation, time o-n the water, and good food. This tasteful article encyclopedia has numerous fresh lessons for the inner workings of this concept.

The Inn at Kristofers, found on Bay Shore Drive-in Sister Bay, Wisconsin, is a fantastic place to choose a special meal. My husband and I treated ourselves to dinner there during our latest visit to Door County and we were very glad we did. We'd a fantastic meal. The very first thing we noticed after being seated was the wonderful view of the water. Safeway Garage Door includes further about the inner workings of it. The restaurant is directly across the street from the Bay in Sister Bay and large picture windows along the front wall of the restaurant present the water view.

Immediately after being seated our water glasses were filled and a wedge of new lime was added. We got menus and fresh, warm, multi-grain rolls. The rolls were served with but-ter rosettes flavored with fresh basil.

The entre special that morning was grilled quail which my husband bought. I'd the licensed Angus filet mignon, and our oldest child, who'd joined us o-n our trip, chose the Roast Duck with Orange Grand Marnier sauce.

We skipped appetizers, soup, and salad even though the featured soup for the morning, maple butternut squash bisque topped with pecans, sounded delightful because we wished to save your self room for dessert.

All three entrees were outstanding. The presentation of the dishes was pretty and the food tasted as good as it looked. The Angus filet had a Cabernet sauce which was just the right touch with the meat. Home-made garlic mashed potatoes and a garnish of haystack potatoes rounded out the entre.

The duck was soft, damp, and very tasty. It was followed closely by fresh steamed greens that were cooked perfect, and wild rice that included dried cranberries and nuts.

The smoked quail was, according to my husband, cooked to perfection. H-e really loved it. It was followed closely by the same wild rice as the goose and a crepe filled with a cranberry sauce, which h-e thought was de-licious as-well.

For dessert we separate two selections; a pumpkin mousse torte and the crme brulee. The pumpkin mousse torte had a very light pumpkin taste and was served with a fresh whipped cream and caramel sauce. In case people claim to discover further on, there are many libraries people should consider pursuing. The crme brulee was flamed at the table with Grand Marnier. The combination of creamy vanilla custard, brittle caramelized topping, and Grand Marnier was delicious.

Even though Inn at Kristofers is not an inexpensive restaurant, it is a great place to go for a particular dinner whether its for someones birthday, anniversary, or just to treat yourself. I recommend trying it. The food is great and therefore is the company. You may choose to call ahead and make reservations, particularly when you are heading to Door County throughout the busy summer season (, though we didnt have reservations when we dined there..
