June — January 1, 2017 6:41 pm Reply Mary, I used a 6 quart crock pot and was able to double the recipe and make it fit. Would the cook time be the same? I am assuming I would just take the chicken out and shred it correct. My entire family liked it and that is almost impossible! Love that its dairy free because I have a dairy sensitivity. It turned out great! A little soupier than I was expecting but amazing flavor. I made it a little spicy by adding red pepper, using hot taco seasoning, and hot diced tomatoes w/chilies. garlic powder to round out the flavor. Instead of the seasoning the recipe suggested,I added *********'s original chili seasoning packet. Amount is based on available nutrient data.
