Windows Phone Store with New Features Open in 37 New Locations
Windows handset web Store for apps and games has just expanded its service and is now open in 37 new places around the world!
The new markets include the following countries: Angola, Armenia, Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Chad, Congo (DRC), Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guinea, Haiti, Honduras, Kenya, Liechtenstein, Madagascar, Malawi, Malaysia, Mali, Mozambique, Nicaragua, Niger, Pakistan, Paraguay, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Togo, Turkmenistan, Uganda, Yemen, Zambia, and Zimbabwe!
Despite the geographical expansion, Windows Phone Store has expanded functionally as well, with number of new features added for a lot effortless user experience. The newly added features include more accurate search results, new categories, and the addition of Collections, the exclusive guides to the Store’s best apps and games. Let’s discuss each feature a bit thoroughly.
The new search feature allows users to see all search results for apps and how-to articles in one place, making it faster and easier to find what you’re looking for.
The other newly added feature is the ability to install apps via SD card, which is supported by many Windows Phone 8 models. The feature is most convenient when a cellular or Wi-Fi data connection is not available.
And the last one, but not the least: the improved app re-installation feature that is a part of My Phone on the website. Particularly if you lose a phone or upgrade to Windows Phone 8, this feature comes in handy! Reinstall option is available right beside each of the apps in your purchase history, as long as you use the same Microsoft account for the new phone, as you did for the lost one.
